"You fool!" croaked the frog, “What have you done, now we shall both die! Why on earth did you sting me?"

The scorpion gave a little shrug and as they both sank below the turbulent water he replied.

"I could not help myself. It is my nature."

P.S. I'm kinda a big deal.

My favorite is the one about voting for McCain, I think. How does it go "...but I didn't know you were completely retarded" hahaha

Yes, losing your dog in duck hunt isn't that bad, I just won a game where my dog was taken first turn and I didn't take it back until the end. But if you lose your dog and your gun, its over. I think this could be fixed by moving 2 or 3 units from the dog to the gun starting out. But yeah, your maps, your call :)

And wouldn't you rather be playing a map with potential stalemates than a map you can lose without taking a turn?

I do not think it would be that difficult to tweak Episode 1 so that the rebels do not have a guarenteed first turn win without giving the empire an advantage. The 50/50 argument is a terrible one.. it means the honorable players get screwed while rewarding the dishonorable.

That is definitely a phenomenal win! Those CC's are vital to the game once they come into play, and I'm glad you & Yertle were able to pull it off. Playing with you was short-lived but well worth it! :)

Given any thought to fixing the exploits on Gear Wars: Episode 1 and Duck Hunt?

That board has the distinct advantage of being the only one of your boards I could figure out on the first try. RiskyKong still makes me throw up a little in my mouth when I look at it. :-p

Thanks Risky. I don't know what to say. FOR was one of my first maps on ToS. Really, I consider myself somewhat of a hack map-maker, but I suspect that the ADHD part of me probably spends more time playing with the colors than I would care to admit. I wonder that a lot of designers out there obsess about the colors in their maps, but maybe don't put as much time into player colors which, when you think about it, usually take up a substantial portion of a fill map.

Hard to make a Hordes of Mongolia port without some kind of simultaneous play. As soon as we've got it, though, I'll bring you a copy.

Ha! Yeah, you sure feel like you are into things when people get pissed off. The spock shocker one was fun, the guy just broke his own treaty and didnt want to admit it, cuz I made sure he lost. This wurzel guy.... just genuinely stupid. I break it down and assume he cannot infer anything, or use any common sense, and he still just talks in circles. When he makes a specific complaint, I walked him through it and he just has nothing to say about it, just moves to whatever he said 4 times ago. I realized that he is so dumb it is a waste of time to try to convince him, but it truly is funny, so I keep trying. Plus if someone stumbles across the posts, it is all there to see for themselves, so I don't have to defend my rep. But I don't really mind, in 1000s of games played, to run into only 3 real jerks/dumbarses, it isn't a bad ratio. And yeah, the new avatar is great! What boards are ya workin' on?

Ah yes, but with great power comes great utility bills. I may be more blatantly snarky, but you manage such an innocent air of self-deprecation that people don't even notice the knife you stuck in their vertebrae. Plus you have cooler forum pics!

Glad you're enjoying them! I've been thinking about revisiting the series myself lately, but there are far too many books on the "haven't read yet" list to go back.
